The role of Guest Service Expert at JW Marriott Seattle offers a unique opportunity to contribute to this legacy of exceptional hospitality. Located at 2100 Alaskan Way in Seattle, Washington, this full-time non-management position is vital in creating memorable and unique guest experiences beyond just serving food and beverages. Guest Service Experts are proactive in ensuring guests enjoy every aspect of their visit, whether it's setting up tables, communicating with the kitchen, interacting with guests, serving food and drinks, or maintaining clean and organized work and storage areas. The role is dynamic and involves a variety of physical tasks, including standing, walking on uneven or slippery surfaces, lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, reaching high places, bending, stretching, and twisting to meet the demands of excellent guest service. These tasks contribute directly to smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, and less than one year of related work experience is acceptable. No supervisory experience or professional certifications are required, making this role accessible to those looking to start or advance their career in hospitality.

The compensation for this position starts at $22.83 per hour and is tip-eligible, providing employees with additional income potential. Marriott International offers comprehensive benefits to full-time associates, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care, life and disability insurance, accident insurance, adoption expense reimbursements, paid parental leave, educational assistance, and an employee assistance program. Both full-time and part-time employees in Washington state accrue paid sick leave and are eligible for a minimum of seven public holidays annually. Full-time team members also accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.01924 hours for every hour worked.
