The role of a Restaurant Server is essential to ensuring our guests have a memorable and positive dining experience. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the face of the restaurant at the guest level, greeting visitors warmly and professionally as they arrive and offering knowledgeable assistance throughout their dining journey. This role demands a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and keen attention to detail to accurately take food and beverage orders, deliver these promptly, and check back with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.
In addition to serving food and beverages, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized and clean workspace, handling payments using the point-of-sale system with accuracy, and assisting with opening and closing duties. Your proactive service approach will include monitoring guest tables, anticipating needs such as drink refills or additional menu items, and tactfully handling any guest inquiries or complaints by escalating issues when necessary.
This position is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring efficiency and strong time management skills to successfully manage multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other restaurant team members to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly and accurately
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, following established service standards
- Monitor guest tables, anticipate needs, and provide proactive service, such as refilling drinks and offering additional items
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary
