The role of Server at Six Flags Great Adventure is integral to the operation of its food and beverage locations within this renowned amusement park. Servers are tasked with ensuring the successful and profitable operation of their assigned restaurant location by providing guests with superior service and delivering high-quality food items efficiently and accurately. The position requires individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about hospitality, as they play a vital part in creating positive guest experiences that contribute to the overall appeal and reputation of Six Flags Great Adventure. This role is full-time, with an expectation of working 40-60 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and flexibility around shift timing.

Servers at Six Flags are responsible for greeting guests warmly and engagingly while efficiently taking and delivering orders through POS systems. They must build rapport with regular customers to foster a welcoming atmosphere and be knowledgeable about menu items, including accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies. Attentiveness to guest needs throughout their dining experience is paramount to ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, servers must enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with health department regulations and Six Flags’ internal policies to maintain exemplary standards of sanitation and safety.

In addition to guest service, servers are expected to maintain the cleanliness and safety of their assigned areas and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. They hold a key role in upholding Six Flags policies at all times and contribute to an environment that prioritizes guest and staff safety. This job requires excellent time management skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Since food and beverage operations involve certification requirements, employment is contingent on passing the ServSafe Alcohol Certification with classes provided by the park. Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to work 40-60 hours per week including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Outgoing, energetic, self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Perfect grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed
  • Previous serving experience is preferred
  • Willingness to change locations when requested

Job Duties
