The role of a food and beverage server at HHM is pivotal, acting as the primary point of contact between the guests and the service team. This position requires a courteous and friendly approach to serving, ensuring that all food and beverage needs are met in line with HHM’s established brand and hotel guest service standards. The responsibilities of this role include taking and placing orders using the point of service (POS) system, preparing guest checks, processing payments, and maintaining clean and well-stocked dining areas. The server must ensure that tables are properly set and cleared and that food is accurately delivered from the kitchen to the guests. Additionally, flexibility is an asset in this role, as servers may be called upon to support bartending, bussing, or other food and beverage functions during peak periods or staff shortages.

Guest satisfaction is of utmost importance, which means the server must be attentive to guests' needs and proactive in delivering a positive dining experience. Servers are also expected to practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards, including the use of protective safety equipment.   • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training

Job Duties

  • Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of service system
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Set and clear tables in dining areas
  • Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws
  • Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly
  • Prepare guest check and if appropriate complete payment transaction
  • Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing in the event of staff shortages or peak periods
