We are currently seeking Servers to join our team at Indianapolis International Airport. This role is central to our customer service mission as Servers are often the first and last point of contact for our guests in the dining areas. The Server position involves assisting guests by answering questions and making suggestions about food, beverages, and facility services with a friendly and professional demeanor. Servers also ensure accurate order-taking by using a POS system, skillfully prepare simple dishes, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area. The position demands attentiveness to guests' needs, swift response to requests, and the ability to manage transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate clearly in English, handle cash and POS systems confidently, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina. Job Requirements

  • 1 year experience in restaurant serving
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Experience in dealing with customer service issues
  • Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate cash register and handle payments
  • Food handlers permit as required by law
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to remember menu items and promote them
  • Ability to operate keyboard and point of sale systems
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and services of the facility
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system
  • Prepare dishes for service, including ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting portions of pie and desserts, and brewing coffee
  • Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond to any additional requests
  • Clear all dishes away from table
  • Balance and reconcile all assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting payments
  • Clear and reset all counters or tables at the conclusion of each course
  • Other duties as assigned
