Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a customer service or restaurant server role preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting and cleaning tasks
- knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and service standards
- basic math and cash handling skills
- ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally

Job Duties
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- educate guests about service style, food, and drink menus including preparation and ingredients
- be knowledgeable about menu items to address food allergies and concerns
- maintain a positive attitude and smile at all times
- assist with light food preparation duties
- adhere to service standards including upselling and suggestive selling
- inform guests about daily specials and menu recommendations
- check quality and presentation before serving food and beverages
- serve food and drinks promptly
- verify identification for alcohol consumption
- recognize signs of intoxication and manage situations appropriately
- process guest payments accurately
- thank guests sincerely and encourage return visits
- clear, clean, and reset tables following sanitation standards
- ensure condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well-stocked
- address guest complaints and notify management
- participate in marketing and promotional initiatives
- complete shift duties including beginning, change, and end of shift tasks
- demonstrate speed of service and urgency
- attend all scheduled employee meetings
- carry out additional tasks as assigned
