This role entails serving food and beverages to guests in a courteous and friendly manner, strictly adhering to established brand and hotel guest service standards along with sustainability initiatives. With a starting wage of $12.14 per hour, this position provides an excellent entry point into the hospitality field with clear pathways for advancement, including roles such as Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server, Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking and placing food and beverage orders accurately using a point of sale (POS) system, ensuring guests receive prompt and efficient service.

Key responsibilities also include setting and clearing tables in dining areas, stocking service stations with necessary items like ice, napkins, and straws, and picking up orders from food preparation areas to ensure accuracy and correctness. The role involves preparing guest checks and completing payment transactions when appropriate. Further flexibility is required to assist with bartending and bussing duties during staffing shortages or peak periods. The associate will actively strive to enhance guest satisfaction scores by delivering personalized service that aligns with HHM's high standards.

As part of the commitment to sustainability, team members will practice safe work habits adhering to MSDS and OSHA standards, wear protective equipment, and consistently follow HHM's EarthView program guidelines. The position demands physical stamina as it involves standing for long hours, walking, pushing, lifting items up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
