Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
  • willingness to follow all safety policies
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • willingness to work part time
  • tip eligible position

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to event type and service standards
  • answer guests' questions on menu selections
  • communicate with kitchen staff about menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system
  • check in with guests for satisfaction
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glass throughout the day
  • complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • present accurate check to guests and process payments
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain uniform and professional personal appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • read and verify information in various formats
