We are currently looking for dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as Food and Beverage Servers on an evening shift basis. This full-time, non-management position is designed for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding service, ensuring that guests enjoy their dining experience to the fullest. This role embodies the essence of hospitality, requiring team members to set tables according to event types and service standards, expertly serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, and thoughtfully address guests' inquiries regarding menu selections. The Food and Beverage Server will act as a vital communication link between guests and kitchen staff, relaying requests such as special dietary needs, allergies, or meal modifications.
The position also involves managing orders and transactions efficiently through the MICROS system, consistently maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and upholding the highest standards of safety and security policies. Our servers are expected to present accurate checks, process payments with professionalism, and check in regularly with guests to confirm satisfaction with every course and drink. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- ability to work evening shifts
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- ability to lift objects over 50 pounds with assistance
- willingness to adhere to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- strong customer service orientation
- familiarity with food and beverage service standards
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to type of event and service standards
- answer questions on menu selections
- communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- record transaction in MICROS system at time of order
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- present accurate check to guest and process payment
