Job Duties
- Prepare tables by laying out napkins and utensils and replenishing condiments
- stay informed on current menu choices, specials, and kitchen stock
- handle table bookings and direct customers to their tables
- present menus and suggest dishes to guests
- assist in drink selection and communicate customer needs to kitchen staff
- maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
- properly open and pour wine tableside
- accurately take all forms of payment including cash
- perform basic cleaning tasks as directed
- fill in for absent staff as needed
- assist with special events
- greet all guests and members warmly
- adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- communicate products and services available at the club
