Known for its dedication to superior service and sustainable practices, HHM Hotels fosters an inclusive work environment that values diversity and equal opportunity. The company prides itself on its strong corporate principles encapsulated by its core beliefs: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. HHM Hotels offers competitive employment benefits and growth opportunities, making it an attractive workplace for those passionate about hospitality and guest service industry careers.

The role of Restaurant Server at HHM Hotels is a compelling opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, guest-oriented environment and who are eager to contribute to the overall hospitality experience. This full-time position requires serving food and beverages to guests with courtesy, professionalism, and adherence to HHM's established brand and hotel guest service standards, along with a commitment to sustainability as outlined in the company’s EarthView program.

As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for directly interacting with guests to take and place food and beverage orders using the point of service system efficiently. Ensuring guests’ overall satisfaction is at the forefront of the role, which includes setting and clearing tables in dining areas promptly and maintaining well-stocked service stations with essential items such as ice, napkins, and straws. The position also involves coordinating with kitchen staff to pick up orders and verifying that food is prepared according to specifications. Additionally, you will prepare guest checks and handle payment transactions when appropriate.

The role is versatile and may extend to performing other food and beverage functions like bartending and bussing, especially during staff shortages or peak business periods. A strong awareness of guest satisfaction scores and a proactive approach to enhancing departmental and overall guest experiences are highly valued. Employees in this role are expected to practice safe work habits, including wearing protective safety equipment and following OSHA and MSDS standards for workplace safety. Managers may assign other duties as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant and banquet services.

HHM Hotels offers a clear career progression path for Restaurant Servers, including opportunities to advance to roles such as Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server, Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager. This progression reflects the company’s commitment to employee growth and professional development within the hospitality sector.

Work conditions for this position entail a schedule that may vary and include weekends, holidays, and alternative shifts. The physical aspects of the job require standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as bending and reaching. HHM Hotels supports a positive and inclusive work culture where every employee is valued and empowered to deliver outstanding service while fostering sustainability and operational excellence.
