Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience serving in a full-service restaurant environment
  • Ability to handle customer service challenges effectively
  • Basic math skills for cash register and order processing
  • Capability to remember menu items and promote them
  • Skill in using POS systems to input and close orders

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience serving in a full-service restaurant environment
  • Experience in handling customer service problems
  • Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, and total guest checks
  • Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
  • Proficiency in operating a keyboard and point of sale system procedures

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests with warm and friendly service
  • Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and services of the facility
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system
  • Prepare dishes for service including ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting pies and desserts, and brewing coffee
  • Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond to additional requests
  • Clear dishes and reset tables and counters after each course
  • Balance and reconcile all assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting payments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
