Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience serving in a full-service restaurant environment
Ability to handle customer service challenges effectively
Basic math skills for cash register and order processing
Capability to remember menu items and promote them
Skill in using POS systems to input and close orders

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year prior experience serving in a full-service restaurant environment
Experience in handling customer service problems
Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, and total guest checks
Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
Proficiency in operating a keyboard and point of sale system procedures

Job Duties

Engage with guests with warm and friendly service
Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and services of the facility
Accurately input orders into the POS system
Prepare dishes for service including ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting pies and desserts, and brewing coffee
Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond to additional requests
Clear dishes and reset tables and counters after each course
Balance and reconcile all assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting payments
Perform other duties as assigned
