Job Requirements

  • Must be 17 or over to apply
  • Ability to work breakfast and lunch shifts from 7 am to 3 pm
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to stand and move quickly for extended periods
  • Basic phone answering and customer service capability

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
  • Guiding guests to their table
  • Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
  • Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
  • Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
  • Answering phones and providing customer service over the phone
  • Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Dealing with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
