The position of Restaurant Regional Manager at Tommy Bahama is a pivotal leadership role designed for someone passionate about hospitality and operational excellence. The Restaurant Regional Manager is the key driver of success for six to eight restaurant locations within the designated region. In this role, the manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of restaurant operations including staffing, training, financial management, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. The manager will act as the brand’s ambassador within local communities, forging relationships and representing Tommy Bahama with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma, college degree or relevant work experience
- 10 years of restaurant experience
- 7+ years of management team supervision
- multi unit management experience strongly preferred
- demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Job Duties
- Provide restaurant leadership over 6-8 restaurant locations throughout the region
- responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations including staffing, training, financials, safety, and compliance
- embrace, articulate and reflect the Tommy Bahama culture and educate managers and team on the lifestyle, culture and atmosphere
- teach managers, staff, and other team members about hospitality, company values, and exceptional guest service
- make final call on promotions, compensation, and performance management of all island management staff in partnership with retail
- hire, train, develop and help retain restaurant management teams fostering a collaborative environment
- analyze restaurant level reports and coach managers to improve results
- work consistently with team members to ensure company, team, and individual goals are reached
- identify sales trends within the region, maintain budgets, implement new concepts through effective partnering, determine report formats and contents, conduct regular meetings to maintain communication and keep team abreast of industry trends
- participate in strategic planning
- manage and take responsibility for P&L and budgets by monitoring progress and coaching managers to make necessary adjustments
- maintain and create standards to ensure successful balance of culture, operations, and profit
- actively review food and operational costs to create profit
- facilitate and oversee construction projects, remodels, and upkeep
- qualify possible events for company presence and orchestrate involvement
