Job Description

Cook Out Restaurants is a rapidly expanding quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain known for delivering high-quality, affordable food in a lively and fast-paced environment. As one of the fastest-growing QSR companies in the nation, Cook Out prides itself on a culture that values hard work, dedication, and rewarding results. The company offers unique benefits including an appealing shift schedule focused on work-life balance, competitive pay structures with performance-based bonuses, and clear opportunities for career advancement. With a commitment to excellence in food quality and customer service, Cook Out is the ideal place for dynamic leaders who thrive in challenging, engaging, and fast-moving environments.

The PM General Manager role at Cook Out is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations during the critical evening hours. This is not a typical desk job but a highly hands-on role that demands active involvement in every aspect of the business from managing a large team to ensuring impeccable customer experiences. As a PM General Manager, you will serve as the driving force behind the night shift, coaching and developing your team members while managing operational costs such as labor, food, and paper to maximize profitability. This role offers a rare combination of competitive salary, including $15 per hour appreciation pay, and potential monthly performance bonuses ranging from $600 to $3,000 or more based on sales growth.

Leaders across the industry are drawn to Cook Out for several reasons. First, the schedule is exceptionally favorable—only four shifts per week, starting at 4:45 PM, allowing for three full days off each week. This schedule supports work-life balance in a way that many other QSR roles do not. Second, the pay package is unrivaled, combining a base salary with performance incentives designed to reward hustle and achievement. Third, Cook Out fosters a culture of real growth where career advancement depends on individual performance and initiative, offering limitless opportunity for those who are ambitious and results-driven.

Cook Out is committed to the professional growth of its leaders, emphasizing the importance of leadership skills such as team building, effective communication, and customer engagement. Successful candidates will have demonstrated at least one year of management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, a track record of coaching and developing employees, the ability to motivate diverse teams, and the stamina to thrive in a fast-paced environment where the line is long and the energy high.

Additionally, Cook Out offers comprehensive benefit packages including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance eligibility after 90 days of employment, a 401(k) plan with up to 4% company match, paid vacation time, free meals during shifts, complimentary manager gear like shirts and hats, and the perk of being closed on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, allowing leaders to enjoy important family time. If you are a dynamic leader passionate about running a successful night shift operation in a rewarding, fast-moving QSR environment, Cook Out invites you to apply and join their team.
