Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing front- and back-of-house teams
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L management and budgeting
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to handle guest issues professionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent understanding of financial management including P&L and budgeting
  • Ability to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in driving revenue and managing operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of FOH and BOH operations and collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with the Detroit hospitality market a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse front- and back-of-house team
  • Foster a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a visible and engaged presence on the floor, setting the tone for service
  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistency and excellence across service, food, and beverage
  • Maintain and elevate service standards in alignment with the MethodCo brand
  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless FOH/BOH collaboration
  • Own and manage P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Drive revenue through thoughtful programming, guest experience, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor labor, cost of goods, and other key metrics to ensure profitability
  • Champion an exceptional and personalized guest experience
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and urgency
  • Build relationships with regulars, VIPs, and the broader Detroit community
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff
