The role of Restaurant Operations Manager at First Watch is a pivotal leadership position that blends operational excellence with a passion for people and food. This full-time role involves supervising both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, supporting the restaurant’s core values, and upholding First Watch’s high standards. Restaurant Operations Managers play an active role in staff development through training and performance recognition, enforcing the First Watch Five Steps of Service, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction. The position also requires regular engagement with hiring activities, employee relations, maintenance oversight, and administrative duties such as revenue accounting and paperwork compliance. - keeps our company assets secure including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
- understands the key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
- puts an immediate stop to any inappropriate behavior, investigates as needed
- trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
- recognizes performance that goes above and beyond
- accounts for all daily revenues and deposits
- completes our admin duties and gets required paperwork in on time
