Meddys is a full-service restaurant known for delivering high-quality, healthy Mediterranean cuisine in a casual and welcoming environment. Established in 2014 on East Harry Street in Wichita, KS, Meddys has grown into a rapidly expanding brand across the central Midwest. The restaurant prides itself on combining fresh, locally sourced ingredients with exceptional hospitality to create a unique dining experience. Their menu highlights signature dishes such as hummus, shawarma, pita bread, and a variety of complimentary sauces along with crafted signature cocktails, catering to diverse dietary needs. Meddys offers a relaxed, modern atmosphere that appeals to a wide range of customers looking for quick, affordable, yet delicious meals with a Mediterranean flair.

The company strongly values a culture centered on hospitality, quality, and inclusiveness, emphasizing both guest satisfaction and employee well-being. With new locations continuously emerging, the restaurant provides exciting career growth opportunities. The work environment promotes teamwork, integrity, and accountability while encouraging employees to contribute to a positive guest experience in each location.

The role Meddys is recruiting for involves crucial responsibilities to ensure smooth operation and excellent guest service. The ideal candidate will be part of a team that handles food and beverages safely to prevent foodborne illnesses and follows established standards to enhance both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Team members are expected to deliver orders promptly, bus tables, provide attentive service including drink refills, and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, patios, and bars. The role also involves engaging guests by presenting and explaining complimentary items, ensuring consistent food quality according to brand standards, and providing timely support at the ordering counter.

Additionally, the position includes leadership and supervisory duties, such as welcoming and training new team members, assigning tasks during shifts to optimize productivity, and performing closing responsibilities to secure the restaurant. Managing labor costs and monitoring trends to improve service are key aspects of the role, along with ensuring accurate record-keeping for clock-in and clock-out times to promote fairness. Candidates will also uphold legal and ethical standards by adhering to guidelines including Alcoholic Beverage Control and compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) policies.

This full-time position offers a salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000, reflecting the important supervisory and operational functions involved. The restaurant seeks reliable individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, maintaining high standards in food quality and safety, and fostering a supportive team environment.
