Job Description
Fresh Kitchen is a trailblazer in transforming the fast food industry by offering a healthier, more authentic alternative. Founded on the principle of serving real food made from scratch, Fresh Kitchen prides itself on using only high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. They emphasize 100% pure olive oil instead of seed oils, hand-cut vegetables, meats free from antibiotics and hormones, responsibly sourced seafood, and entirely gluten-free recipes. This commitment to quality culminates in their philosophy of "Good Food Forever," setting new industry standards for what fast food can and should be. Fresh Kitchen is a brand with ambitious plans, aiming to open 100 remarkable restaurants by 2034. Their focus extends beyond just food — they are equally dedicated to cultivating a people-centric culture and a workplace environment that supports growth, sustainability, and excellence. This makes Fresh Kitchen an ideal place for leaders who are passionate about making a lasting impact in the restaurant industry.
The role of Restaurant Operations Manager at Fresh Kitchen is a dynamic and pivotal position. This full-time leadership role commands a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 and offers a unique opportunity to shape the guest experience, build an effective team, and drive operational excellence during every shift. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner and working closely with the Culinary Operations Manager, the Restaurant Operations Manager oversees front-of-house and general operations with a hands-on approach. Unlike traditional supervisory roles, this position requires the manager to be visible and engaged on the floor, offering real-time coaching and setting hospitality trends. The responsibilities encompass ensuring a stellar guest experience that prioritizes hospitality, speed, cleanliness, energy, and issue recovery; leading shift execution with a focus on order flow, accuracy, and coordination; managing digital and off-premise orders including online pickups and catering; building and nurturing a high-performing front-of-house team through coaching, accountability, and engagement; and optimizing labor deployment with smart scheduling so the right people are in the right places.
The Restaurant Operations Manager plays a critical role in aligning front-of-house and back-of-house operations, especially during periods of peak volume and elevated online ordering or catering demands. Success in this position means owning the full guest journey from entry to exit, making every interaction feel fast, friendly, and on brand. This leader ensures that every area — dining room, beverage station, expo, entry, and pickup — remains guest-ready throughout the shift, even during the busiest times. They demonstrate confident shift management, keep standards tight, and actively seek opportunities to improve efficiencies and operational flow. A key aspect of their leadership style involves embodying Fresh Kitchen’s core values: maintaining high standards paired with genuine care, coaching in the moment, staying calm under pressure, focusing on detail, and bringing energy and positivity that inspires the team. This role offers a durable career path within a values-driven company known for its culture and commitment to development. Additionally, the role includes competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced restaurant leaders ready to grow with a progressive, impactful brand.
