Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant or related field preferred
- food safety certification or ability to obtain
- ability to work daytime hours with no night shifts
- excellent communication skills
- strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- willingness to coach and develop team members
- eligibility to participate in benefits programs upon meeting criteria

- certified in food safety or willing to obtain certification
- ability to handle multiple responsibilities and urgent situations
- proficiency with restaurant point of sale systems

Job Duties
- Learn and support the You First culture and core values
- put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan and high standards
- understand and uphold recipe and food quality standards
- know and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
- coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service implementation
- put the 10 Commitments into action
- respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
- communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
- maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling
- scout, interview, and hire team members
- keep company assets secure including POS, security systems, and equipment
- understand key responsibilities of every restaurant position
- stop and investigate inappropriate behavior
- train, coach, and develop team members daily
- recognize outstanding performance
- account for daily revenues and deposits
- complete administrative duties and paperwork on time
