Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to participate in 401(k)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Proficient in handling customer service issues
  • Capable of recruiting and developing team members
  • Detail-oriented with organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and meet high standards
  • Follow recipes strictly to maintain quality
  • Work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and monitor the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Implement the 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Manage repair and maintenance issues immediately
  • Maintain food safety certification and enforce safe handling practices
  • Recruit and interview candidates to build a strong team
  • Secure company assets including computers and equipment
  • Understand and oversee all restaurant positions and responsibilities
  • Address and investigate inappropriate behavior promptly
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance
  • Account for daily revenues and deposits accurately
  • Complete administrative duties and paperwork on time
