As a Restaurant Manager at Whataburger, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing a high-volume restaurant with average annual sales exceeding $4 million and managing a team of more than fifty Family Members. This position demands strong leadership and operational skills to ensure that every guest receives great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. You'll rotate through areas of responsibility including Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and People Management, building well-rounded leadership capabilities designed to prepare you for future roles such as Operating Partner.

In this role, you will influence the restaurant's success by driving operational performance, fostering team development, and maintaining brand standards. You will cultivate an environment where hospitality and guest satisfaction are paramount, coaching and supporting Family Members to reach their full potential. Your leadership will be vital in meeting and exceeding goals related to sales, labor management, food costs, and profitability. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
  • be able to meet business needs and have open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
  • have ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands
  • have 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or ability to successfully obtain and pass exam during training
  • possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in state of residence
