The role of the Restaurant Manager at Whataburger is a dynamic and crucial position responsible for overseeing high-volume restaurant operations. Managers handle restaurants with annual sales exceeding $4 million and lead teams of more than fifty team members, referred to as Family Members. This role requires a leader who can inspire great service and teamwork daily by managing the restaurant's customer experience, quality, and employee development. The Restaurant Manager rotates through key areas of responsibility, including customer service, quality assurance, and people management, to cultivate comprehensive leadership capabilities. This approach prepares candidates for advanced leadership roles such as Operating Partner positions, offering a clear path to a six-figure income.

Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- be able to meet business needs and have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
- have ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands
- have 1-3 years of leadership experience
- possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training
- possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in your state of residence
