The Restaurant Manager position at Whataburger is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a high-volume restaurant with average annual sales exceeding $4 million and managing a team of over 50 Family Members. This role is designed to build well-rounded leadership skills by rotating through various Areas of Responsibility (AORs) including Customer, Quality, and People. The Restaurant Manager will create an atmosphere where excellent food, outstanding service, and effective teamwork come together every day.
The manager will support operational performance, develop and coach team members, and work closely with the Operating Partner and fellow leaders to drive business growth and continuous improvement. Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- be able to meet business needs and have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
- have ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs, and meet physical demands
- have 1-3 years of leadership experience
- possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training
- possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in your state of residence
