This Restaurant Manager position offers a unique leadership opportunity within one of Whataburger's high-volume locations, overseeing a restaurant with annual sales exceeding $4 million and a team of over fifty Family Members. The role demands expertise across Customer, Quality, and People Areas of Responsibility, providing well-rounded leadership experience that prepares candidates for future Operating Partner roles. The Restaurant Manager leads daily operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, efficient and friendly service, and a clean, safe environment. The manager champions hospitality, develops and coaches employees to reach their potential, and drives key business metrics including sales, labor management, food costs, and overall profitability. Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- be able to meet business needs and have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
- have ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands
- have 1-3 years of leadership experience
- possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training
- possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in your state of residence
