As a Restaurant Manager at Whataburger, you will have a pivotal role in overseeing a high-volume restaurant with average annual sales exceeding $4 million and a team of over fifty Family Members. Certification as a ServSafe Food Manager or willingness to obtain it during training is necessary, along with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
  • Have 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • Possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to obtain and pass the exam during training
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability insurance as required by state
  • Be able to meet business needs with open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours
  • Have ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs
  • Maintain dependable attendance

  • Lead shift transitions and maintain smooth operations across all day parts
  • Guide talent development, training, hiring, and retention in partnership with restaurant leadership team
  • Support business planning, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
