The role of Restaurant Manager at Whataburger is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing a high-volume restaurant with average annual sales exceeding $4 million and managing a team of more than fifty Family Members. This position plays a critical role in delivering outstanding food quality, exceptional service, and a joyful guest experience every day. Restaurant Managers at Whataburger rotate through various areas of responsibility, including Customer, Quality, and People, to develop well-rounded leadership capabilities and prepare for potential future promotions to Operating Partner roles that offer six-figure earning potential. Responsibilities include supporting operational performance, developing and coaching team members, partnering with fellow leaders, and leading continuous improvements to strengthen restaurant operations. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
  • Be able to meet business needs and have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
  • Have ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs, and meet physical demands
  • Have 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • Possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in your state of residence
