Job Description

Flanigan's is a highly esteemed and long-standing restaurant chain that has cemented its position as the largest and most popular dining establishment in South Florida. Founded in 1959, Flanigan's has developed a rich heritage and reputation synonymous with exceptional quality and customer service across Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The restaurant is recognized as a beloved institution in the region, providing memorable dining experiences through a diverse and inviting menu alongside an atmosphere that fosters community and enjoyment. As Flanigan's continues to expand, the company is actively seeking experienced restaurant managers who are passionate about growth and success within the hospitality industry. This opportunity invites motivated professionals to join a legendary brand known for its consistent commitment to excellence and its supportive environment that encourages career advancement and personal development.

The role of a restaurant manager at Flanigan's encompasses a variety of leadership and operational responsibilities integral to the smooth functioning and overall success of each restaurant location. Managers serve as a vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring that communication remains clear and efficient regarding all kitchen matters throughout each shift. Attention to detail and thorough management practices are critical, including maintaining detailed notes and accurate reports in the manager's daily log. Supervisory duties also involve regular participation in staff and management meetings to review procedures, updates, and industry best practices. Flexibility in scheduling is essential due to the restaurant's year-round operation, including willingness to relocate within the geographical footprint of Flanigan's units if necessary. Comprehensive understanding of food safety laws is mandatory, supported by current food management certification. Proficiency in basic math skills and computer literacy are necessary to support financial and administrative tasks. Physical stamina is also important, as the position requires extended periods of standing, mobility, and the ability to lift substantial weights, while maintaining compliance with Flanigan's dress and grooming standards.
