Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- minimum experience in relevant management roles
- completion of restaurant manager training
- ServSafe certification
- effective English communication skills
- interpersonal skills
- basic math proficiency
- analytical skills
- organizational skills
- ability to initiate and accept responsibility
- proficient computer skills
- valid driver's license and insurance
- physical ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- internal promote requires minimum one year experience as an associate manager or two years as a first assistant manager, fully certified
- external recruit requires minimum three years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete restaurant manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- effective English communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform basic math
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- self-starter with initiative
- proficient with personal computers and related software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
- create employee-friendly, safe, and motivating environment
- ensure compliance with labor laws and company systems
- manage daily restaurant operations to achieve operational excellence
- provide exceptional guest experiences and respond to guest concerns
- maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
- utilize management tools to analyze operational and financial performance and implement action plans
- focus on increasing sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain
- exercise discretion and independent judgment in business decisions
- attend to priorities, delegate work, and conduct follow-ups
- perform other related duties as assigned
