The role of Restaurant Manager at Sally's Waterfront Dining involves leading and managing the daily operations of this exquisite hotel restaurant. The Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring top-notch service quality and seamless coordination with various hotel departments. This position requires strong leadership skills to support and manage restaurant operations effectively, working closely with Food and Beverage Managers and assistant managers. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for financial planning, hiring, training, and developing team members to maintain high professional standards and exceptional guest experiences. This role includes developing creative strategies to enhance revenue while controlling costs, fostering a positive, high-energy work environment, and leading marketing collaborations for special promotions and events. It is a full-time management position with a salary range of $72,800 to $95,000, reflecting factors like experience and education.   • Prior experience in hotel restaurant operations preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Full-time management position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule
  • A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite), including proficient knowledge of point-of-sale systems, and reservation systems
  • Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
  • Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits and beer
  • Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant service
  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager, assistant or restaurant manager is preferred
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Supports and manages the restaurant while working closely with hotel departments
  • Supports the food and beverage manager for outlet operations by learning all operating outlets across the hotel to support when appropriate
  • Ensure alignment with immediate supervisors and two directly reporting assistant managers
  • Responsible for short- and long-term planning to achieve financial and service goals
  • Ensure effective hiring, training, and individual/team development
  • Accountability of teams’ service and professional standards
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
