The role of Assistant Manager at Flynn Applebee's represents a dynamic and integral position within the company's extensive network of restaurants. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity offering an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $78,000. Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Must have a driver's license
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains effective safety and security programs
- Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and immediately reports to the General Manager/Area Director of needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team member and management candidates
- Encourages Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Helps maintain a trained staff through effective orientation, individual training sessions, employee meetings and policy implementation
- Participates in employee development using One-on-One and performance documentation
- Assesses employee efficiency, provides feedback, and works on their development
- Monitors employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary action
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Controls cost in assigned department
- Complies with all local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines
- Conducts bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories as requested
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee's guidelines
- Provides a role model for managers and employees
- Develops self on all store related technology
- Works in all positions and assists team members as needed
- Utilizes Management Development Program for leadership growth
