Flanigan's is a well-established and highly esteemed restaurant chain, recognized as the largest and most popular in South Florida. Since its inception in 1959, Flanigan's has become a beloved institution throughout Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. The brand is synonymous with excellence in the dining experience, offering a vibrant atmosphere, quality food, and exceptional customer service. With a strong reputation built over decades, Flanigan's continues to expand by adding new units to its portfolio and is actively seeking experienced restaurant managers who are eager to grow and prosper within the company. Joining Flanigan's means becoming part of a legendary family that values dedication, professionalism, and the pursuit of excellence in the highly competitive restaurant industry.
Flanigan's is currently hiring experienced restaurant managers on a full-time basis with competitive starting salaries and benefits. The role of a restaurant manager at Flanigan’s is pivotal to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the restaurant units. The manager will be expected to provide leadership and support to both kitchen and floor staff, promoting a positive work environment while striving to meet business goals. This role demands excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong sense of ownership. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards in food quality, customer service, and compliance with health regulations. They will also engage actively in managerial meetings, staff evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The restaurant manager will handle a variety of tasks including overseeing kitchen communication throughout shifts, completing detailed daily logs in English, and participating in weekly and monthly staff gatherings. The manager is expected to provide accurate and honest reports on daily events and ensure all company policies are strictly followed. The company adheres to a rigorous set of standards for dress, grooming, and general conduct, underscoring its commitment to professionalism. Flexibility in work schedule is required given Flanigan’s year-round operations, and geographic mobility is encouraged as managers may need to transfer among locations. Additionally, the role involves practical responsibilities such as ordering inventory, managing par levels, and performing basic financial calculations related to restaurant operations.
Flanigan's offers competitive compensation packages along with a range of benefits including a comprehensive health insurance plan covering medical and dental, a 401K retirement plan with immediate eligibility, paid vacation, and personal days. The company prides itself on offering career advancement opportunities based on individual performance rather than tenure, reinforcing its commitment to rewarding talent and dedication. Prospective candidates should have food management certification, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Physical stamina is essential, as the position requires standing and moving for several hours, as well as lifting and mobility abilities. Those who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and possess the required skills and qualifications are encouraged to apply and become part of the ever-growing Flanigan’s family.
