Job Description
Cactus Club Cafe is a prominent restaurant brand known for its innovative approach to casual dining, featuring a blend of contemporary cuisine and memorable hospitality experiences. Established with a commitment to quality, creativity, and a guest-centric service philosophy, the company has grown to become a respected name in the hospitality industry. With locations across Canada, Cactus Club Cafe is now expanding its footprint into the United States, beginning with its Boston, Massachusetts location. This new chapter represents not only an opportunity for the brand to establish its unique presence in a competitive market but also for talented individuals to grow their careers within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Restaurant Manager at Cactus Club Cafe in Boston, you will play a crucial role in the company's US expansion, acting as a key leader responsible for fostering an exceptional hospitality culture among both employees and guests. This position is full-time and offers competitive compensation along with a rich set of benefits designed to support your professional and personal growth. The role focuses heavily on leadership and team development, requiring a strategic mindset balanced with hands-on operational expertise.
The ideal candidate is someone who embodies Cactus Club Cafe’s core value of "It’s Your Business," meaning they take personal accountability for the success of the restaurant, the wellbeing of the team, and the satisfaction of the guests. Restaurant Managers are entrusted with creating a reliable and trusting team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills that inspire, mentor, and motivate team members to exceed performance expectations. Cultivating a culture of ambition and entrepreneurship within the restaurant is essential as the management team is known for their collaborative spirit and dedication to long-term career advancement.
The role demands a leader who not only understands the fast-paced, high-volume nature of the hospitality industry but who also has a genuine passion for food and guest service. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, achieving financial targets, and ensuring compliance with all service standards and policies, including valid state alcohol service certification. Physical stamina is also important, as the job requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderate weights.
Beyond the operational responsibilities, Cactus Club Cafe offers a unique employee experience that prioritizes professional development and personal well-being. Through in-house specialized mentorship and training programs such as Cactus University and the Manager Bootcamp, you will have ample opportunities to refine your skills and prepare for future growth within the brand. The company fosters an enjoyable and supportive work environment, complemented by flexible scheduling, paid vacation, competitive health and welfare benefits, and a discounted food dine-in card. This comprehensive support system reflects Cactus Club Cafe’s dedication to maintaining a high standard as a recognized leader in the hospitality sector, ensuring that each team member feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Joining Cactus Club Cafe means becoming part of a forward-thinking team that embraces diversity and equal opportunity. The company adheres to a rigorous equal employment policy, offering a workplace free from discrimination and committed to providing reasonable accommodations as required by law. If you are a motivated, entrepreneurial leader with a commitment to excellence in hospitality, this role presents a remarkable opportunity to make a significant impact while advancing your own career within a reputable and expanding brand.
