We are currently seeking experienced Hiring Managers who are ready to grow and prosper with Flanigan's as the company adds more units across South Florida. Managers at Flanigan's take on a versatile and impactful role, supporting restaurant operations that may require work locations up to 30 miles from the initial restaurant position. This flexibility underscores the importance of dependable leadership capable of managing diverse teams and navigating the challenges of high-volume, fast-paced dining environments. The position includes responsibilities such as overseeing kitchen management communications, maintaining accurate and thorough managerial logs, participating actively in regular meetings and staff evaluations, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and health standards. These managers play a crucial role in upholding the Flanigan's legacy while driving performance and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate ownership mentality and possess essential skills in food management certification, scheduling flexibility, and logistical adaptability, including willingness to transfer geographically if required. The role demands strong organizational and interpersonal skills, basic math and computer literacy, and the ability to meet physical job demands including stamina, mobility, and coordination for equipment operation. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, and the mobility to move about, at a moderate pace, for up to (4) hours at length and the stamina to work fifty (50) to fifty-five (55) hours per week
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Must have the co-ordination necessary to operate kitchen equipment
  • Must adhere to Flanigan’s policies for dress and grooming
  • Vacations are scheduled between April and November only and must be taken or forfeited

Job Qualifications

  • Must have current food management certification
  • Must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
  • Must have flexibility for scheduling
  • Must be willing to transfer to a different geographical location
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • Must have basic math skills, must be able to count currency and make change, use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must understand and facilitate proper health code standards
  • Must adhere to Flanigan’s always hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion
  • Must issue written evaluations for positive and/or negative performance
  • Must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Must be able to read and write English

Job Duties

  • Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • Read as well as write (in English) notes in the manager’s daily log
  • Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Read the weekly memo
  • Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
  • Communicate with all m.o.d. when shift is completed
  • Relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
  • Comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • Attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
