Job Description

Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain born in Dallas, Texas, in 1975, known for its vibrant culture and bold flavors. Famous for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's has firmly established itself as a favorite destination for guests seeking a fun and satisfying dining experience. With a rich legacy rooted in exceptional service, hospitality, and community involvement, Chili's continues to commit to delivering the best experience for every guest, every day. The brand prides itself on fostering a culture of fun, emphasizing that while they take their jobs seriously, they never take themselves too seriously, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for both team members and guests.

The role of a Chili's Manager is pivotal to maintaining and enhancing this culture of hospitality and excellence. Managers at Chili's are truly wired for hospitality, recognizing that their work is centered around people. They are passionate about connecting with team members and guests, ensuring that everyone feels special and valued. The successful Chili's Manager leads with a heart and mind, blending empathy with business acumen to drive top business results while promoting a fun and positive working environment. Managers serve as the critical link between the team and the overall success of the restaurant, handling everything from leading high-energy shifts to exceeding guest expectations and managing financial responsibilities effectively.

Embracing a "win-together" atmosphere, Chili's values teamwork and celebrates those willing to go above and beyond. The Manager's responsibilities are varied and comprehensive, including ensuring excellent guest experiences, role-modeling operational and quality standards, and holding team members accountable. They identify the root causes of operational issues with self-reflective leadership, encourage open communication, and champion change initiatives and restaurant programs. Chili’s Managers are also tasked with hiring, training, retaining, and developing team members, fostering growth opportunities within the restaurant. Additionally, they drive guest engagement within the restaurant and through community involvement while upholding strict food safety standards. They embody Chili's cultural beliefs, including valuing every guest, pursuing food perfection, accountability, and maintaining a playful yet professional restaurant atmosphere.

This leadership position offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 to $69,000 annually and is designed for dependable team players who thrive in fast-paced environments and demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities. The role is perfect for individuals ready to contribute to a vibrant team, deliver superior guest experiences, and grow their leadership skills in a thriving, supportive restaurant setting. Chili's supports its Managers with clear operational systems such as the Manager Timeline and quality line checks, ensuring consistent and effective management practices are followed.
