The role open at Ole Red is integral to maintaining the high standards and vibrant culture that define the venue. The position is responsible for all daily operations and guest experiences within the restaurant and bar, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities such as business administration, human resources, training, food and beverage management, as well as cleaning and sanitation. Key to this role is supporting entertainment production, retail operations, and maintenance, ensuring the seamless integration of all aspects that contribute to the guests' enjoyment and the venue's success. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, this role contributes to the development, implementation, and execution of business strategies that cover operational unit management, sales and service strategies, and financial performance.
The position requires an individual with strong leadership skills who can oversee staff and operations on the floor, guaranteeing exceptional and consistent guest service. They must be adept at handling guest feedback and complaints with the goal of turning any dissatisfied guests into loyal return customers. Attracting and developing both front-line and management staff is a critical part of the position, including setting performance expectations and providing timely feedback to direct reports. The role involves actively seeking new opportunities to enhance revenue and maximize financial returns by producing excellent products and services.
Overall leadership is crucial, with responsibilities including fostering a positive culture within the venue and partnering with venue leadership on budgeting, forecast management, and profit and loss oversight. The individual will also contribute to short- and long-term planning for revenue growth and cost control, collaborate with internal business partners across marketing, IT, human resources, and accounting, and support security measures to protect employees and guests. Furthermore, the role requires ensuring the physical facility is properly maintained, upholding corporate standards and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This position supports the brand's standard operating procedures and participates in company audits, with other duties assigned as necessary. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain

Job Duties
- Oversee staff and operations on the restaurant floor ensuring that guest service and operational needs are met
- Ensure consistent and positive guest service in all areas through continuous interaction and feedback requests Respond to complaints taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- Actively participate in attracting selecting and developing front-line and management staff
- Develop direct reports by communicating performance expectations and delivering timely feedback
- Seek opportunities to enhance revenue and produce new possibilities in all areas of operations
- Provide overall leadership and support for all areas of operation and corresponding staff functions by creating and influencing the appropriate culture and character of the venue
- Partner with venue leadership to prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts and conduct P and L oversight management
