Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain founded in 1975 in Dallas, Texas. Known widely for its welcoming atmosphere and iconic menu featuring Big Mouth burgers, house smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand shaken margaritas, Chili's has carved out a prominent place in the hospitality and casual dining industry. With decades of experience, the company prides itself on its culture of fun balanced with a serious commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. The brand’s legacy is built on the principles of service, hospitality, community involvement, and creating memorable dining moments for every guest who walks through the door. Chili's operates with a strong emphasis on teamwork, mutual respect, and accountability, ensuring that both employees and guests enjoy a positive and engaging environment.
The role of a Chili's Manager is central to the restaurant’s success. Managers at Chili's are hospitality-driven professionals who are passionate about people — both team members and guests alike. The position requires a unique balance of leadership, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to foster a winning team dynamic that prioritizes collaboration and exceeding guest expectations. This position is a full-time management role offering a yearly salary range of $67,000 to $73,000, which reflects the responsibility and importance of the position.
In this role, managers lead by example, embodying Chili's cultural beliefs including Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Accountability, and Playing Restaurant. They ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant through careful cost management, operational oversight, and team leadership. Managers hold team members accountable for maintaining operational and quality standards while encouraging open communication and transparency. They are expected to be self-reflective and proactive in identifying and solving issues, always striving to improve the restaurant’s performance and guest satisfaction.
Additionally, Chili's Managers play an integral role in the development and growth of the team by hiring, training, retaining, and nurturing team members to fill larger roles within the company. They actively engage with guests in the restaurant and within the community, building meaningful relationships that foster loyalty and positive brand awareness. Safety and compliance are also key, with managers ensuring that all food handling and safety procedures are followed rigorously.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy multitasking, and are dependable team players. Chili's management positions reward those who are passionate about hospitality and demonstrate leadership with both heart and mind. The culture is one where fun and business go hand in hand, promoting a workplace where success is shared and every contribution is valued. Being a Chili's Manager means taking pride in driving business results, inspiring your team, and creating outstanding guest experiences every day. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth within a nationally recognized brand committed to innovation, community, and employee development.
