The Restaurant Manager role at Makers Union is a dynamic leadership position essential to maintaining the establishment's high standards and ensuring exceptional dining experiences. The manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless and efficient guest service during busy hours and peak times. This leadership role involves motivating and guiding a dedicated team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences while achieving key performance goals. The manager will work closely with culinary and front-of-house teams to uphold quality and service standards that reflect the brand's values.
Daily responsibilities include managing restaurant cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations, crucial for maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. Inventory management, ordering, and cost control duties will enable the Restaurant Manager to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. This role requires flexibility, as it involves working 50 to 55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends based on business needs. Physical stamina is important due to the demands of standing, walking, and occasional lifting throughout shifts.
This position is ideal for individuals with proven experience managing fast-paced restaurant environments and demonstrated leadership capabilities. The successful candidate should possess an excellent attitude and work ethic, able to remain composed while multitasking under pressure. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 6-8 hours
