Job Description
Chili's Grill & Bar is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that has been serving guests since its foundation in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, Chili's has established itself as a leader in the casual dining industry, known especially for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, flavorful fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The restaurant prides itself on a rich legacy that combines exceptional service, a welcoming and fun atmosphere, and a commitment to giving back to the community. Their focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction sets a foundation for a culture that values every Guest and Team Member, reinforcing Chili's as a favorite dining destination for families and friends alike.
The company embodies a distinct culture of fun – taking their jobs seriously but not themselves. The work environment encourages team collaboration, respect, and celebration of achievements. Chili’s Managers are recognized as the vital connection between the restaurant’s operations, Team Members, and Guests. They lead by example and foster an atmosphere where everyone is motivated to go above and beyond for the Guest experience.
The role of a Chili's Manager is dynamic and crucial to the restaurant's ongoing success. Managers are responsible for leading their teams through high-energy shifts, ensuring operational excellence and maintaining quality standards across all aspects of the restaurant. They play an essential role in exceeding Guest expectations, managing business finances, driving sales, and cultivating a positive and productive work environment. Chili's Managers are not just supervisors; they are leaders who guide by example, encouraging Team Members to develop and succeed within the restaurant. The position demands someone who is passionate about hospitality, loves to connect with people, and thrives under fast-paced, ever-changing conditions.
Beyond daily operational management, Chili's Managers are champions of the company's cultural beliefs — Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant. These core values shape the way the Manager approaches their role, from fostering transparent communication within the team to directly engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience. Furthermore, they are tasked with hiring, training, and retaining talent while driving change initiatives that align with Chili's business goals.
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range from $68,000 to $75,000, reflecting the importance of the managerial role in sustaining Chili’s brand promise and operational success. Candidates who take on this role must be dependable team players with exceptional multitasking skills who can perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for leadership, hospitality, and delivering memorable experiences, a managerial role at Chili’s presents an exciting opportunity to grow within a respected and vibrant company.
