The company is committed to supporting its management team and employees in achieving business success by focusing on guest satisfaction, efficient operations, and adherence to industry best practices. The role is positioned within the Operations department and reports directly to the Unit General Manager. It is a non-exempt position as of December 2024; salary details are not specified but it offers opportunities for bonuses, reflecting performance-based incentives that add to the overall compensation package.

As a Restaurant Manager I, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Unit General Manager by overseeing daily operational activities that contribute to the achievement of the unit's financial, operational, and guest service goals. The role demands a proactive approach in reinforcing a culture that values teamwork, customer-centered service, and compliance with food and beverage policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the training and supervision of staff during assigned shifts to ensure all operations run smoothly and that the delivery of prompt, courteous, and professional service is consistent.

The Restaurant Manager I is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs that govern the concept under which the restaurant operates. Additional responsibilities include record keeping, preparation of paperwork including reports and schedules, invoice processing, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and upholding security standards for opening and closing operations. Advising the concept manager on associate performance and ensuring adherence to dress code guidelines are also part of the supervisory duties. Monitoring food preparation methods to assure compliance with brand and company standards maintains the quality expected by guests.

Candidates suitable for this role are expected to have at least a high school diploma, with some college education preferred, complemented by 1-2 years of experience in restaurant management. Essential skills include excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, and superior customer service proficiency. The role requires adaptability to a diverse workforce and the capacity to assist leadership teams in achieving organizational goals. A fundamental understanding of the profit and loss goals encompassing labor, sales, and cost of goods (COG) is also necessary to support financial objectives.

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes affordable medical insurance, dental and vision benefits, a range of voluntary insurance options, company-sponsored life insurance, employee assistance programs, competitive paid time off, recognized company holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Employees also benefit from discount programs related to travel and entertainment, alongside a meal program at the location. Additionally, this position is eligible for bonuses, enhancing earning potential.

The workplace is committed to equal opportunity employment and building an inclusive environment that respects diversity. Physical demands for this role include prolonged standing, manual dexterity, verbal communication, and other activities that may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds.
