Job Description
Kessler Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company known for its portfolio of artistically inspired boutique hotels that emphasize unique design, luxurious accommodations, and enriching ambiance paired with intuitive service. The company has established itself in the hospitality industry by operating properties across several states including Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Each of these properties offers guests a distinct experience that showcases exquisite art, music, and cultural influences, creating a deliberately approachable yet refined environment. Kessler Hospitality was a founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, introducing seven Autograph Collection branded hotels that stand as bold and original destinations, catering specifically to individualist travelers who value style and memorable experiences. The company’s commitment to redefining Bohemian luxury is evident in its diverse range of properties, from cutting-edge urban icons to premier luxury lodges, entertainment destinations, and elite ski lodges.
One of Kessler Hotels’ premier locations is the AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District, situated in the heart of historic Savannah on the picturesque Savannah riverfront. This location is distinct not just for its luxurious accommodations but also for its unique history as a former power plant. The district combines chic architectural styles with romantic and contemporary maritime design elements across its three unique buildings: Power Plant, Three Muses, and the Atlantic. Guests at this location are immersed in an entertainment and cultural hub that offers a variety of attractions including local shopping, diverse dining experiences within the hotel’s restaurants, vibrant riverside bars, and guided walking tours of the historic district. The hotel also offers a rejuvenating spa experience and access to a lively nightlife scene, making it a sought-after destination for both local and traveling guests.
The Food and Beverage Outlets Manager role at Kessler Hotels is a crucial leadership position within the Food & Beverage Division. This role provides comprehensive management and leadership for all the food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant and bar operations. The manager ensures seamless integration of these services to serve both local customers and hotel guests while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities center around overseeing budgets, managing staff, maintaining high service standards, coordinating closely with kitchen and catering sales departments, and driving profitability. The position requires hands-on involvement with daily operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, quality control, and adherence to sanitation standards. This leader helps foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and mentorship, and they are expected to create and implement promotional plans that drive business and strengthen community engagement through events and partnerships.
This full-time position offers competitive compensation reflective of the luxury hotel industry and requires a professional with extensive experience in fine dining and luxury hotel food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate is adept in strategic business planning, has strong leadership capabilities, and is proficient in inventory, budgeting, customer service, and hospitality industry software. The candidate should also hold or be willing to obtain necessary certifications such as manager food safety and TIPS training. This role embodies Kessler’s values of guest hospitality and service excellence while facilitating employee engagement and operational success in a dynamic, culturally rich environment.
