Currently, General Hotels Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations at one of its newest restaurant locations. The role involves managing all aspects of food and beverage services to ensure the highest standards of quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency are achieved. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the restaurant's success, leading a team of talented individuals and implementing strategies to maximize sales, control costs, and maintain compliance with company policies and health standards.

  • knowledge and experience with forecasting, budgeting, inventory and food and beverage cost, and labor management
  • ability to comply with all health department standards, including certifications
  • ability to work under pressure
  • strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
  • attention to detail, efficiency, consistency, and organization are a must
  • ability to multi-task
  • reliability, flexibility, and ability to work nights and weekends on a full-time basis
  • ability to accurately handle money and credit card transactions
  • must be a self-starter that is willing to motivate and develop team members

Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage operations

  • work within budgeted guidelines in relation to food costs, liquor costs, and payroll
  • maintain accountability for monthly food, beverage, equipment, and supplies inventories
  • evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continued improvement
  • ensure communication meetings are conducted
  • assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
