Job Description
Cafua Management Company is one of the largest private Dunkin Donuts franchise operators in the United States, with over 200 restaurant locations spanning six states. As a family-owned and operated business, Cafua Management Company emphasizes a People First culture, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees. The company prides itself on offering competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and ample opportunities for internal career development and skill enhancement. The operation is committed to upholding high standards, ensuring both profitability and outstanding guest experiences in every restaurant. Beyond being a successful franchise, Cafua Management Company values diversity and inclusivity, adhering strictly to all federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws and fostering a welcoming workplace for all employees regardless of their background or identity.
The Restaurant Manager role within Cafua Management Company focuses heavily on leadership and operational excellence to maintain and enhance the quality of service and profitability of the Dunkin Donuts establishments it oversees. This management position involves the comprehensive operation of individual restaurant locations according to both Dunkin Donuts and franchisee standards, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements. A key focus is fostering a Guest First culture — a fundamental approach where delivering exceptional guest service is embedded into every action. A Restaurant Manager must inspire and lead their team to provide quality products delivered with fast, friendly service and maintain a clean, inviting atmosphere as the core pillars of guest satisfaction.
This role entails full ownership of recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees, setting clear job expectations, and providing coaching and constructive feedback to continually improve team performance. Maintaining optimal staffing levels to meet guest service goals and ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines are also critical duties. Restaurant Managers oversee operational standards by executing marketing promotions, product rollouts, setting sales goals, and controlling operational costs to maximize profitability. By conducting audits and implementing corrective plans, Managers drive continuous improvement across production, productivity, quality, and customer service.
Moreover, Restaurant Managers play an instrumental role in nurturing positive interpersonal relationships and a collaborative work environment. They are expected to handle conflict resolution constructively, empower team members to make decisions, and lead by example with integrity and respect. They also focus on developing direct reports through tailored development plans and ongoing performance reviews. A strong grasp of business and financial acumen is essential to this role, enabling the Restaurant Manager to analyze profit and loss statements, identify business trends, and apply innovative problem-solving techniques to enhance restaurant performance.
In addition to competitive salary and benefits such as health insurance, 401k options, paid vacation, life and disability coverage, employee recognition programs, and discounted products and services, Cafua Management Company offers monthly bonus plans as an incentive for exceptional performance. Working as a Restaurant Manager at Cafua means being a vital part of a large yet close-knit team, where leadership, service excellence, and continuous development are rewarded and celebrated.
