The position of Restaurant Manager at Turning Point is a specialized role focused exclusively on daytime shift management, offering employees a healthier work-life balance by eliminating the need for night or double shifts. As a manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations during your shift, ensuring smooth functioning between front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, and maintaining a commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The managerial role includes daily operational tasks such as managing staff, conducting inventory, and safeguarding financial performance, which directly influence the performance-based compensation. Job Requirements

  • Education level not specified
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team
  • Work effectively in partnerships
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and encouraging leadership attitude
  • Available to work day shifts only including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to occasionally swap shifts for weekends off when staffing permits

Job Duties

  • Daily management of one shift
  • No need to ask staff to work a double when you close at 3
  • No close or open shifts for managers
  • Work alongside the FOH and BOH staff
  • Conduct one full inventory for each period
  • Full transparency on the financial performance of the restaurant for performance-based compensation
  • Consistently seek out and hire exceptional team members
