Job Description

Turning Point is a reputable and award-winning daytime-only restaurant that has been serving its communities for 28 years. With its core philosophy centered on fostering a positive work-life balance, Turning Point operates between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm, allowing its employees, especially managers, to enjoy evenings free from work commitments. The company has expanded over the years with multiple locations across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, and Virginia, operating both corporate-owned venues and franchised stores. As a growth-oriented business, Turning Point prioritizes employee development, investing considerably in training and offering meaningful opportunities to advance within the organization. \n\nTurning Point prides itself on professionalism and a supportive culture that welcomes both experienced restaurant professionals and newcomers who bring enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and succeed. The environment encourages collaboration, respect, and appreciation, with multiple initiatives to recognize and reward its team members including company picnics, workshops, paid time off, gifts, and more. The managerial training program ensures new managers are thoroughly prepared through ongoing coaching and direct support from upper management and HR.\n\nThe role offered is a daytime restaurant management position with a focus on managing only a single shift each day. This distinctive shift structure eliminates close/open shifts and night work, enabling managers to maintain a constructive work-life balance. Managers at Turning Point are entrusted with full accountability for their restaurant's daily operations during their shift, supported by a District Manager. They lead and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience that aligns with Turning Point's standards. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory, managing financial transparency for performance-based compensation, utilizing advanced technology solutions, and ensuring a welcoming and equitable workplace culture. This position offers a competitive salary range from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, with additional earnings potential tied to performance bonuses.\n\nTurning Point’s commitment to its employees is evident through its extensive benefits package, which includes 401(k), dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and performance bonuses. The supportive and respectful culture combined with a well-structured operational framework creates an ideal setting for motivated professionals seeking a meaningful career in restaurant management without the strain of night or double shifts.
