Job Description
Chili's Grill & Bar is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, Chili's has become a staple name in the casual dining industry, widely recognized for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The establishment prides itself on its deep-rooted legacy in delivering exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and a strong commitment to giving back to the community. This commitment has fostered an environment that values both its Guests and Team Members equally, creating a culture where every individual experience counts and customer satisfaction is paramount.
As a prominent player in the restaurant sector, Chili's focuses on creating a fun yet productive atmosphere, combining the best of business acumen with a warm and welcoming environment. The culture at Chili's is one where passion for hospitality meets dedication to team success. Managers at Chili's are not only responsible for operational success but also serve as integral links connecting the team and guests. They are the driving force behind team cohesion, guest relationships, and driving business outcomes in an ever-evolving, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Joining Chili's as a Manager means embracing a role that requires hospitality passion, leadership excellence, and the ability to inspire a diverse team. These leaders foster an atmosphere of collaboration, encourage open communication, and prioritize accountability and transparency. Chili's Managers are expected to be role models who drive the restaurant towards operational excellence while ensuring outstanding guest experiences are delivered consistently. They balance the need for efficient cost control with motivating their teams to perform at their best, making sure that the restaurant's high-quality standards and safety protocols are always met.
This leadership position involves much more than supervising daily restaurant operations; it entails cultivating talent through hiring, training, retaining, and mentoring team members to assume greater responsibilities in the future. Managers champion the restaurant's core cultural beliefs including that every guest counts, food perfection is a priority, accountability is essential, and playing restaurant means being fully engaged and innovative. They actively work to promote positive behaviors, effectively manage challenges, and build lasting relationships both inside and outside the four walls of the restaurant.
In addition, Managers are tasked with ensuring all team members comply with safe food handling procedures and adhere to Chili's operational systems such as Manager Timelines and Line Checks to maintain consistency and quality. They take ownership of the restaurant's financial health by utilizing Chili's cost control systems while simultaneously driving guest engagement to strengthen Chili's standing within the local community.
This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, excel as team players, thrive in fast-paced environments, and exhibit exceptional multi-tasking abilities. At Chili's, Managers are recognized and rewarded for their willingness to go above and beyond, making it a place not only to work but to grow, lead, and have fun along the way. If you are passionate about people, hospitality, and leadership, this dynamic management opportunity offers a fulfilling career path within a company that places equal emphasis on business results and team culture.
