Job Description

Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, it has established itself as a leader in the casual dining industry, famous for its signature Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The restaurant is not just known for its mouth-watering menu but also for its strong legacy rooted in exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. Chili's culture is built around creating memorable experiences for every Guest, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable, friendly, and satisfying. This commitment to quality and guest satisfaction has made Chili's a favorite dining destination for families, friends, and food lovers alike.

The role of a Chili's Manager is pivotal to maintaining the high standards and vibrant atmosphere that guests expect. Chili's Managers are wired for hospitality; they thrive in the people business. They are passionate about connecting with both Team Members and Guests, fostering a win-together environment that rewards collaboration and dedication. The ideal Manager leads by example, demonstrating a commitment to both operational excellence and team engagement.

As a Manager at Chili's, you will be the cornerstone of the restaurant's success, responsible for ensuring a great Guest experience every day. You will role model and hold Team Members accountable for operational and quality standards, identifying and addressing root causes of issues with a self-reflective approach, showing vulnerability and transparency. Communication is a key aspect of this role, as you will foster open dialogue between Team Members and Management, championing change and new initiatives to influence positive behavior within the team. Moreover, you will lead with both heart and mind, driving business results by effectively controlling costs using Chili's established systems. You'll be expected to follow operational systems such as the Manager Timeline and perform quality Line Checks to maintain daily standards.

Your leadership extends to hiring, training, retaining, and developing Team Members to help them grow within the organization and take on bigger roles. Driving Guest engagement within the restaurant and developing relationships in the local community are also important facets of the role. A solid understanding and practice of safe food handling procedures are essential to ensure compliance and customer safety. Embodying Chili's culture and adhering to the Cultural Beliefs — Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, Play Restaurant — will be at the heart of your daily work.

This position is perfect for dependable team players who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent multitasking skills. Chili's offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $62,000 to $67,000, reflecting the importance of this leadership role in maintaining the brand’s high standards and guest satisfaction.
