Job Requirements
- Must be certified in all hourly positions and pass manager training within allotted time and complete additional training related to the Restaurant Manager role
- Must be certified in opening, closing and changeover procedures
- Must be certified in people, product and place modules within a reasonable timeframe
- Must pass background and credit checks
- Must be able to work at any restaurant within the region considering food, alcohol licensing and transportation regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles
- Certification in all hourly positions and completion of manager training
- Certification in opening, closing, and changeover procedures
- Competency in people management, product quality control, and place maintenance modules
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage restaurant financials including labor and food costs
- Experience in handling cash management and security protocols
Job Duties
- Lead and inspire your team by building confidence and fostering relationships with guests and Nandocas
- Train and develop Nandocas to assume additional responsibilities
- Provide consistent feedback, performance coaching, and handle disciplinary actions as needed
- Set goals and communicate professionally to resolve situations effectively
- Delegate tasks to empower team members
- Oversee shifts to maintain food safety, operational standards, and excellent guest experiences
- Utilize restaurant financials to manage labor and food costs
- Ensure the safety and security of the restaurant through safeguarding keys, securing premises, and setting alarms
- Support marketing initiatives and salesmanship contests
- Manage responsible cash handling including safe counts, deposits, cashier checkouts, and discount authorizations
- Execute opening and closing duties such as reviewing staff lineups, inventory checks, prep sheets, and final walkthroughs
- Own back-of-house operations including prep lists, cook sheet utilization, and line checks
- Conduct thorough shift changeovers ensuring all monies and inventories are reconciled and communication logs updated
- Lead one of the three pillars of excellence - People, Product, or Place by energizing teams, maintaining high food quality standards, or ensuring restaurant upkeep and merchandising displays respectively
