Over the past two decades, Flynn Group has experienced significant growth through building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, establishing itself as the largest Applebee's franchisee worldwide. This robust foundation has empowered Flynn Group to diversify and expand into multiple brands, countries, and industries. Currently, there are over 460 Applebee's restaurants operated by Flynn Group across 24 states. Flynn Applebee's is one of seven premier brands under the Flynn Group umbrella, which has grown to be the largest franchise operator globally. Flynn Group owns and manages a diverse portfolio of iconic and world-class brands, including Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. The company's primary mission is to be the premier operator within each of these brands by steadfastly focusing on core values such as genuinely caring for people, playing like champions, and winning as one unified team.
The role of an Applebee's Assistant Manager within the Flynn Group is an engaging and dynamic position responsible for all facets of daily restaurant operations. This full-time role, with a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $78,000 per year, requires a passionate leader who motivates both guests and staff to deliver excellent experiences consistently. As an Assistant Manager, you will be at the forefront of creating an atmosphere where exceptional customer service meets operational excellence. You will also be responsible for encouraging recruitment, conducting employee feedback sessions, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role demands hands-on involvement, including occasionally stepping into team member positions such as cooking, bartending, or seating guests when needed. Flynn Group prioritizes continual leadership growth through its Management Development Program, equipping Assistant Managers with the skills to excel in their responsibilities and advance their careers. This position works in person with typical 10-hour shifts and requires flexibility including weekends, physical stamina, and the ability to handle various operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
