Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • strong knowledge of restaurant operations
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • strong business acumen
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Title 4 Manager Certification
  • valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • proficiency with Aloha POS system
  • experience with Hot Schedule
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • familiarity with Paylocity, Restaurant 365, and Plate IQ systems
  • physical ability to traverse restaurant quickly
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in a kitchen environment
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work late nights and unpredictable hours

Job Duties

  • Hire and train restaurant staff
  • organize and oversee staff schedules
  • conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • handle discipline and termination of employees according to policy
  • foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • set performance goals and provide guidance
  • conduct regular staff meetings
  • oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring seamless service and compliance
  • monitor inventory and control costs
  • implement and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
  • continuously improve operational processes
  • ensure excellent dining experiences by addressing customer concerns promptly
  • interact with guests to gather feedback
  • maintain visible presence in the restaurant engaging with customers
  • develop and manage budgets including revenue forecasting and cost control
  • monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions
  • drive sales and achieve financial targets
  • conduct regular menu tastings to maintain food and beverage quality
  • monitor product presentation and portion control
  • ensure customer satisfaction with dining experience
  • handle customer complaints diplomatically
  • ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
  • manage inventory and purchase supplies
  • inspect restaurant and equipment for safety and hygiene
  • evaluate and schedule equipment maintenance
  • collaborate with chefs on menu development
  • maintain sales records and track cash receipts
  • prepare and submit operations reports
  • perform other assigned duties
